Do you have an exchange or a money back policy? What value will I get when I exchange or return the product?
Vanshi Exchange Policy This product can be exchanged for 95% of the value of the purchase invoice within 30 days of purchase, at any authorized Vanshi outlet. Such an exchange will be valid only if the product is in unused condition, and is accompanied by this Certificate of Authenticity and the invoice. If the product has been used but is otherwise intact, it may be exchanged at any time for 83% of the purchase value. In both cases, this certificate and the original Invoice must accompany the product to enable exchange. Should the invoice not accompany the product, the exchange value (95% or 83% as per (a) and (b) above, respectively) will be reckoned on the selling price prevailing at the time of exchange.

What happens if there are any defects in the product?
We at Vanshi guarantee this product against any manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase, subject to the Terms of Validity. The guarantee is not valid if the product has been damaged by mishandling, or altered or repaired by personnel not authorized by Vanshi. This guarantee does not cover breakage or loss of stones nor does it cover any consequential loss or damage. Damages, if any, will always be limited to the sale price of the product.

Is the gold in Vanshi products real?
At Vanshi we guarantee the gold that we use in our products. Every product will have the exact karatage of gold as specified. For example, in our 18KT products the melting purity of the product is a guaranteed 18KT. To achieve this we actually start the manufacturing with a karatage, which is slightly above the guaranteed purity. In 18KT (75.0 % gold) we actually start with 75.4% gold.

Will the gold colour fade or change?
Vanshi Diamond Jewellery is made by alloying pure gold to the desired karatage. It is not plated. There will be a slight color variation between various karatages of gold. For example 18KT electroformed gold will be pale yellow. The color of the product will not change or fade over time. However with frequent wear, dirt tends to accumulate on the product, giving it a faded look. This can be removed using a simple mild soap solution to bring the luster back. Please do not use strong detergents or cleaning fluids.

Are the stones used in Vanshi products real?
At Vanshi we use only natural stones in all our products. We do not use any synthetic stones like cubic zirconium; glass etc., Each and every gem that is used in the Vanshi products is carefully selected for color, and is checked for internal blemishes and other inclusions. These gems are then color matched and suited to the product to ensure a product of the highest quality.

Are the diamonds used in the products De Beers diamonds?
De Beers is a supplier of the rough uncut diamonds which are then cut to various shapes by diamond cutters. Roughly 80% of the diamonds mined in the world come from De Beers'' mines, but after cutting, all diamonds are recognized and certified by international organizations only by their cut, color and clarity, not by the mines of origin. At Vanshi we use diamonds that are brilliant white? and free of inclusions as viewed by the naked eye. In technical terms the diamonds that are used in the Vanshi products are graded as per the GIA standards and we use VS clarity and GH color diamonds in our products. In the market this quality is called super deluxe quality.

Is Vanshi Diamond Jewellery real? Is it plated or artificial?
All materials used in Vanshi products are real and natural. None of the products are plated. The reason why Vanshi products are so reasonably priced is that we buy materials directly from their sources, manufacture the Jewellery efficiently and keep our organizational overheads low, so that we deliver excellent value to our customers. Our team of designers designs products that reduce unnecessary material and cost, so that the value-for-money of all products is enhanced.

Will the stones fall out or break in day-to-day wear?
In normal day-to-day wear, no stones will fall out of Vanshi Diamond Jewellery. However, natural stones can be quite soft and due care should be taken to see that the Jewellery is not dropped.

Will the color of the stones fade?
All the stones used in Vanshi products are natural and will not fade. However, some natural stones are prone to discoloration by exposure to intense heat, or contact with perfume, hair dyes and henna.

The gold chains look very delicate, will they break?
Vanshi chains have been tested rigorously for daily wear and will not break in normal usage. However some of the lightweight chains may snap if subjected to abnormal pulling or tugging, so please do take care.

Are the gold chains really 22 karat or are they plated?
All gold chains at Vanshi are either in 18Karat gold or in 22 karat gold, designed specially to match our pendants. None of the chains are gold plated .

Do you have any 22k products with diamonds?
22 Karat gold is too soft to set stones, and, if set in this karatage, are liable to fall out easily. Internationally, the standard for high quality gemset products is 18 karat, which is what is followed by us at Vanshi. So the next time you find gemset products proclaimed as using 22karat gold, do check carefully!

Is it safe to use credit cards to buy jewellery at the Vanshi site?
Vanshi website is Verisign certified the international standards for secured online transactions. The credit card numbers are sent to the payment gateway partner (bank) using 128 bit encryption, so nobody other than the bank has access to the customers your credit card information.

Any product bought on the website can be returned for 95 % of the value within 15 days. For products bought at the Vanshi web store, money will be refunded in case the product is unused and returned within 15 days as per the Vanshi 15-day Money-Back Policy. In all other cases, the Vanshi Lifelong Exchange policy will apply. Before shipping the products back to Vanshi, please read the instructions.
